Welcome to the Support Group Page

Fertility Challenges Support holds a support group meeting on the last Saturday of every month at Harris Methodist HEB Hospital in Bedford, Texas from 10:00AM to 1200PM in the West Room (or East room, see calendar).  The (free) meetings are held in an informal setting and give people an opportunity to meet and connect with others going through the challenges of infertility and assisted reproductive technology treatments.  There are no doctors present in the meetings and no diagnoses or analyses will be provided.  It is simply an open forum to share your feelings or just listen to others.  Husbands and wives are both welcome and the groups are typically small with anywhere from 5 to 15 people.

It is our goal to form a "support network" so that you have continuous support outside of meetings any time you need it.  Another goal is to match people up who are going through the same treatments as "cycle buddies" who can relate to and support each other during treatment cycles.  Coping with infertility is a very difficult process.  Meeting and talking to others who are in the same boat is more helpful than you can imagine.  Learning about the experiences and feelings of others helps you realize you are not alone in the way you feel, and you're definitely not crazy!  The friendships you will form during this process will last forever, and eventually you will be able to give back by providing encouragement to others.

Click here for a map to the hospital.  Harris Methodist HEB is conveniently located just 10 minutes from DFW Airport.

Park near the Cancer Center.  Enter at the Cancer Center entrance* and turn left.  Walk down the hall and the West Room is on the left.  To get to the East Room, take a right at the end of the hall and it's down on the right.  Look for the FCS signs.  We look forward to seeing you!

*If the doors to the cancer center are not open, enter the hospital at the main entrance, turn left and walk as far down as you can, pass the elevators and restrooms.  If you encounter too many locked doors, wait around a bit, as we're probably working with security to get them unlocked.  If you are unsure of the location once you get there or are just flat lost, try Lorraine's cell phone 817-313-8029
