Ask us about our cycle buddy program. This is unique only to Fertility Challenges Support. Each member is asked if they would be willing to disciple another woman/couple new to FCS according to their most recent fertility treatment cycle, whether it be a round of chlomid to IVF or even participation in the donor program. All of our members are a living well of encouragement and support that we can draw from. Lorraine Thomas, Founder, will welcome the new member/couple and share with them our Buddy Cycle Program and ask if they would like to be matched with another member/couple of similar circumstance to “walk with them” the treatment that they are about to endure. The purpose of this program is 2 fold. Fertility Challenges Support was birthed for the purpose of Mark and Lorraine Thomas to share what God had put on their heart (to love others and share their infertility success and failures in hopes of encouragement). The treatments that Mark and Lorraine received were a few years ago, and there are other members who have recently completed treatments. We want to provide the member/couple with the most up to date, recent and accurate support. Ideally, one member should matched up with another new member “Cycle Buddy” for every treatment cycle. The 2nd reason for the “Cycle Buddy Program” is to help FCS and its members. There is something therapeutic about helping others. By discipling a new member you achieve a since of accomplishment (whether or not your most recent cycle was successful) in helping a new person understand what they are about to go through, and caring for their outcome and wellbeing. |
